Our coach, Dave Rose, played for Houston back in the day.
Dave Rose played for Houston when Guy Lewis was the coach. Remember the Phi Slama Jama and Hakeem Olajuwon and Clyde Drexler. They were runners up in the 83 NCAA. This was before Akeem dropped the H on his first name.
Here is a picture of Dave Rose this year. Did you know he is from Houston? Did anyone know him then. He went on a mission to Manchester, England in 77-79.

Its always a cool thing when BYU wins, not because I'm a BYU fan but because all the commentators predict a loss. Sports Illustrated, Fox Sports and NBC both gave a hard thumbs down today. CBS and Google Sports gave us a shot.
We play Florida in New Orleans next Thursday. Go Cougs!
A very exciting win for BYU. Turns out that Chuck had picked BYU to beat Gonzaga in his pool. He is always preparing himself for the worst...sometimes pauses the TV because he gets so anxious. I did watch the game and did enjoy watching Jimmer, jimmer the Zags.
